#1 Online Dating Advice…Book a flight to Vermont next Tuesday morning.

In what I find to be quite interesting, apparently the best time to find someone for a long-term relationship is Tuesday at 2 pm. I suppose 2 o’clock is a respectable time of day; not too early and not too late; doesn’t appear desperate. The study I read did not specify WHY this day was so popular, just that it was the peak time for those logging into their dating service to find a match. Maybe this is because they waited the ‘mandatory’ three days to hear from their Friday night date. (Now for me, if they are not impressed enough to shoot me a text the next day just to say Hi, I’m not waiting around.) Or maybe watching The Voice or DWTS on Monday nights puts them in a romantic mood. Speaking of romantic….Michigan and Vermont are considered to be the most romantic states according to POF. With Louisiana as the least romantic. What’s going on in the bayou?? (Obviously, not very much.)

Vermont also ranks as the safest state for online dating. Coincidentally, they are also the least populous state beaten out only by Wyoming. There has to be a connection between fewer (safe) people and more romance. That might take another cup of coffee to unravel. I’ve never been to Vermont and only know of their ski resorts, fantastic fall foliage, and maple syrup. However, with the way things have been going for me. I just might consider taking a trip. On Tuesday. At 2 PM.
